The Operations team partners closely with ResMed\xe2\x80\x99s five business leaders to understand their needs then providing a variety of products and services to help them meet those needs including Customer and Technical Services, Global Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, manufacturing, logistics and distribution. Focused on enabling new product introduction and operating excellence, our team strives to improve time to market for new products and services, improve efficiencies in our cross-functional processes, and improve our supply chain through digitization and automation to increase value add to our customers.
The Manufacturing PFT function, located in Sydney, Singapore and Malaysia, is required to sustain the
production for markets globally and focuses on all aspects of process, manufacture, assembly, test and
packaging of ResMed products.
As an integral member of the engineering group, you will be involved with all aspects of PFT (Product focused
Team) engineering. You will undertake design and development activities for sustaining current product and
process engineering of high-volume medical product, including product change management and process
equipment validation.

This role also supports and develops strong relationships and collaboration with tooling suppliers, machine
makers, and relevant department in ResMed in driving effective implementation. This position has a open
schedule and or rotation schedule and will include weekends.

Responsible to provide online support to ensure minimum machine down time
Responsible to execute:
Maintenance activity (unplanned downtime)
Preventive Maintenance activity as per maintenance plan
Setup of new machine (including tooling) according to production plan
Collaborating with Manufacturing and Equipment Engineer in the following:
Provide feedback (including data collection) and work closely engineers to resolve problem.
New Equipment and Tool Technical reviews
Contribute to continuous improvement of equipment and tool maintenance including set-up processes.
Assist in running and documenting tool trials of new or modifi ed tools
Work closely with Manufacturing and Equipment Engineer for any issue in the production line
Train new Technicians.
Perform equipment/tool set-up and start-up to achieve acceptable fi rst-off samples as agreed by production lead/Manufacturing Engineer
Identify and report any downtime due to tool or machine issues to the technician lead and engineers.
Maintain a work environment that complies with OH&S, 5S and GMP requirements.
Assist other areas as required such as facilities, recreation and safety.

Minimum years in hands-on experience in troubleshooting machines
Experience in a medical manufacturing industry
Ability to operate in a fast environment, adapt to changes in priority and redirect as an effort as necessary
Advanced data collection and able to summarize results.
Diploma or Certificate in mechanical/electrical/electro-mechanical technology
Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) would be a plus.
Excellent mechanical and electrical skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer skills
