Location:Penang -Salary:CompetitiveType:PermanentMain Industry:Other Industries & Skills:Manufacturing, Property & Real EstateAdvertiser:Job ID:131000344Posted On:24 August 2024Purpose StatementPart of core team to respond to equipment, yield and process related issues, implement corrective and preventative actions to eliminate repeat instances.Key Responsibilities-Work with Manufacturing Engineers in developing, trouble shooting, standardizing and improving existing production methods and procedures.
-Work on Electronic troubleshooting, PLC. programming, electronic hardware interfacing.
-Maintain a critical spares inventory for key maintenance items to minimize downtime.
-Assist ME\xe2\x80\x99s in investigating and implementing new production methods.
-Assist ME\xe2\x80\x99s in design methods, part sourcing and documentation.
-Perform equipment qualifications and validations, including report writing etc.
-Design, specify, manufacture, test and document production equipment, changes and improvements.
-Interface with a variety of BSIL personnel and with outside vendors when necessary while performing the above.
-Take responsibility for preventative maintenance procedures with an assigned process or area.
-Communicates any concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, health or safety issues to their manager.Job Requirements:-Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
-Required skill(s): equipment maintenance, equipment qualification, critical thinking, Problem Solving.
-At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
-Need equipment or tester troubleshooting skills. Having worked on tester PM will add an advantage. Electronic knowledge is a must
-Spare parts management tech skills and Pivot.
