1.1 Lead EC Motor manufacturing operation and process.
1.2 Lead EC Motor team in close alignment with other supporting functions, EC Motor CoC team, plant management team.
1.3 Take entrepreneurial decisions to reach targets of EC Motor lines.
1.4 Support development of purpose, vision, and strategy for the plant/location.
1.5 MAE and EWAK planning for new and current products.
1.6 Collaborate with TEF to plan on line set up requirements including safety elements.
1.7 Line capacity analysis to meet customers demand.
1.8 Align the VSE and VSO towards product new requirements.
1.9 Ensure machine and Process Capability Study meet the capability requirement during mass production.
1.10 Ensure Direct Productivity and failures cost are monitored and drive for improvement.
1.11 Effective manpower and budget planning including cost reduction activities.
1.12 Support production in achieving the effectiveness, output, FOR and quality target through continuous improvement activity.
1.13 Provide support for Quality problem resolution through problem solving skills PSS or 8D.
1.14 Contributes to cost saving projects.
1.15 Any other tasks assign by supervisor.Job Scope2.1 New product
2.1.1 Coach the VSE for start up projects, workstation layout, MAE, EWAK investments, new product line setup, workstation buyoff and release.
2.1.2 Coach VSE in product, process FMEA and control plan.
2.1.3 Ensure VSE has the PGL Guidelines knowledge.
2.1.4 Ensure machine and process capability studies being executed according to the
requirement.
2.1.5 Work with PQE lead in risk assessment for any quality issue arise.
2.1.6 Control and monitoring EWAK and MAE investment.2.2 OPERATION SUPPORT:
2.2.1 Drive for process improvement activities in production (Time Study - VT improvement, direct productivity improvement, ergonomic, workstation, machine and technology improvement)
2.2.2 Support cost saving activities and approve alteration change.
2.2.3 Conduct process confirmation to ensure line and process compliances and cycle time according to approved time study (VT) summary.
2.2.4 Establish long term strategies for effective shop floor management.
2.2.5 Initiate manufacturing best practices sharing among manufacturing team
2.2.6 Lead BE Fixing operations to achieve planned quantity, quality and cost according
to plant targets.
2.2.7 Communicate and verify the internal and external audit findings are being closed and robust actions are in placed and followed.
2.2.8 Provide support for quality problem resolution through problem solving skills PSSQualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or science.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Understand mandarin will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 8 years in manufacturing environment
• Profound knowledge of technical and business aspects
• Basic knowledge about product functionalities
• Holistic picture of the whole value stream/manufacturing
• Effective communication skills with all levels within the organization.
• Focusing on user needs
• Work passionately in order to achieve the targets
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and self-motivation.
