• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, for liaison with media, writing of press material and internal communications such as marketing campaigns, social media, copy-writing and proof-reading.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge on all Avani\'s product and service offerings, such as products, services, rates and new developments of key competitors.
• Prepare presentations of hotel information in the media, on industry websites and directories and all other relevant online and paper-based publications.
• Collate and distribute media references to the hotel and the brand, and proactively circulate to all relevant internal parties
• Assist the corporate Marketing team in all marketing or public relations focused projects.
• Conduct market research on competitor hotels within the industry that is seen as relevant and delivering competitive advantage to the brand, in that the research is valued and eagerly awaited by the corporate and operational leadership teams.
• Maintain and continually improve the hotel library of photography, video and other electronic media.
• Solicit and obtain external sponsorship for promotions and special projects when required
• Maintain and update the media database.

• Must have prior experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in developing, executing, and measuring demand generation programs that keep customers and prospects engaged throughout the funnel.
• Strong knowledge of content development and SEM.
• A strong network of PR, KOL and media contacts would be highly advantageous.
• Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
• Possess high level of attention to detail, including a proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders.
• Able to lead and manage and a team player
