Position: Market and Competitive Intelligence Analyst

How You\'ll Make an Impact

Competitive Analysis

• Provide deep dive research on competitor-specific projects to better understand their products, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Provide actionable insights to win against key competitors.
• Analysis of market penetration in terms of share of wallet, Competitive position including Portfolio and technology gaps. Formulation of major implications for Siemens Energy in Asia Pacific.
• Support market and competitor analyses on decarbonization and cross-divisional opportunities in the region. Identify value proposition and unique selling proposition for Siemens Energy.

Market Analysis

• Perform strategic analysis of business segments, evaluate opportunities for Siemens Energy products in new markets, channels or customer target groups.
• Perform strategic planning, analyses and provide actionable insights to exploit markets (vertical and product) - aggregation of information and internal alignment with business and regional colleagues.
• Carry out market size evaluation for the addressed core market segments, growth fields and portfolio elements. Identify market signposts, trends and scenarios based on internal and external sources.
• Development and implementation of concrete follow up measures for all business areas based on the conducted analysis and implications.

Communication

• Conduct primary and secondary research, analyze information and data, synthesize, and create compelling content for executive presentations to drive go/no-go decisions on opportunities.
• Preparation of the necessary material for customer discussions, arranging and conditioning meetings. Analysis of outcomes. Involve relevant Go-To-Market and Business Development Team for follow up.
• Present market and customer intelligence to Go-To-Market team, Key Account Managers and Growth Initiative teams. Keep an open communication channel to provide/receive feedback on market and competitive situation.

What You Bring

• A sound Degree in Engineering, Business Administration
• Minimum of 5 years\' experiences in the energy industry with a strong technical background
• Deep market and business knowledge, competent in market analysis and competition analysis
• Strong understanding of climate change, energy markets, energy savings, sustainability challenges and drivers for decarbonization
• Exceptional communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple time-sensitive projects
• Able to work independently and effectively with individuals from multiple cultures and background
