Job Description

The Market Security Manager (MSM) will assist local Head of Sustainability and Government Relations in providing their respective staff with a secure working environment as well as safeguarding their operations from external security threats and internally from malpractices. Along with which, the MSM would also work with the Market Security Committee (SeCo) and Zone Security Manager (ZSM) to ensure the implementation of Nestl\xc3\xa9 Group Security (NGS) strategy in the Market.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the compliance of all Nestl\xc3\xa9 facilities (factory, distribution center, warehouse, head office, sales branch, research & development center) with GI00.902.
• Conduct site security assessments and produce an action plan aimed at correcting any compliance gaps within a time frame of three years.
• Responsible for consolidating and reporting security data on a quarterly basis to the ZSM.
• Responsible for the introduction and maintenance of security best practices throughout the region, as defined within the Group Security Strategy.
• Spread and co-ordination of personal security awareness in the region. (This includes training programs in e.g. Security Induction, Crisis Management, Hostile Environment Training, etc.).
• Assessing and measure progress and performance in personal and site security, in relation to the Road Map.
• Responsible for the selection, appointment, training and guidance of part-time Security Champions (SC), one for each Nestl\xc3\xa9 facility in the Market.
• Advise Market management on the selection, briefing and performance monitoring of external Security Guarding companies.
• Work closely with Nestl\xc3\xa9 Internal Audit in investigating actual or suspected fraud cases.
• Ensure that the Markets has up-to-date security Contingency Plans (e.g. Local Evacuation Plan, Product Contamination, Kidnap for Ransom, Military/Civil Unrest, etc.) and that such plans are accessible to the Zone Security Manager.
• Liaise and network with Security Managers in other companies, organizations and government bodies, to ensure that Nestl\xc3\xa9 is able to draw upon the experience and knowledge of others. The MSM will work in cross-functional teams (RIPA, Legal, Audit, Technical, Sales, etc.) in order to address any security related issues.

Key Experiences

• Preferably 5 years\' relevant experience in Engineering / Logistic / Materials Management / law enforcement, military intelligence or related security experience.
• Experience in supervising and training guard force in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of security and loss prevention techniques.
