At least a bachelor\'s degree in journalism, public relations, communications or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, ideally in both corporate and agency environments with exposure in Public Relations.
Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
Posses advanced writing and editing skills, and be able to present ideas with clarity and vision.
Computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and similar programs are required.
A wide range of creativity and latitude is expected in this position.
Have a good knowledge in writing for magazines, newsletters, advertising and direct mail pieces.
Excellent leadership skills with internal staff and excellent negotiation skills with the media.
Strongly networked in the press industry and having good contacts with Media.

ResponsibilitiesMarketing and Communications Managers supervise and direct the workflow of marketing, advertising or public relations specialists for the company. The candidate is responsible to allocate company resources to maximize collaboration, efficiency and creativity in the building and maintenance of consistent branding or corporate identity across marketing and public relations channels.
To develop and co-ordinate the Group\'s internal and external communications strategies.
Manage and write collateral material to promote the Group\'s business and services, such as brochures, newsletters, videos, website content, direct mail programs and e-mail blasts.
Provide input into the branding strategy and oversee implementation.
Develop executive communications such as speeches, video content, e-mails, employee messages and slides.
Develop and design new communications systems throughout the organisation, including making artistic contributions to marketing collateral.
Design and develop a structured framework for communicating internally, determine best practices, set up intranets and establish what the desired outcome is for improving internal communication.
Responsible for integrating cross-functional messaging in areas of customer service, marketing, legal or education.
Provide leadership, supervision and directions to all public relations staffs within the Group.
Lead and direct the work of the design staff to ensure consistent messaging in various media and create marketing or advertising campaigns to increase awareness of the organisation, which can include the design of fundraising materials and events.
Manage special events/projects.
Coordinate with Public Relations Agency on external communication plans.
Coordinate materials with all of the Group\'s initiatives, such as Safety, Diversity, Sustainability, etc.
Implement the social media strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across the company to ensure its effectiveness and encouraging adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company\'s products and services.
To establish and maintain contacts with the media and manage media relations, press release writing/approval process.
Disseminate accurate information through timely and interesting news releases.
Provide statistics or materials for media kits and determine the best way to communicate information internally.
To promote knowledge and understanding of the Group\'s objectives, to both internal and external stakeholders, through the use of appropriate and effective communications and marketing techniques.
