Faculty/Department: Student Enrolment CentreCampus: KuchingThe position will be responsible for achieving student recruitment targets, in line with the unit's broad objectives and growth projection of the university. The position resides within the Marketing and Student Recruitment Department and will report directly to the Manager.ResponsibilitiesThe position is responsible for marketing the University and its products and services in East Malaysia, which involves contribution to:

• Executing marketing and student recruitment strategies to increase local enrolment from emerging regions;
• Relationship marketing with diverse stakeholders including school officials and agents;
• Developing and initiating school activities, school visits, events and execution of marketing activities in collaboration with academics;
• Providing course consultation to students on courses and other matters related to studying at UCSI University;
• Developing and implementing of advertising campaigns;
• Providing regular market intelligence and trends.

Requirements

• Undergraduate with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• A level of maturity consistent with the requirements of the position for independent work, initiative and travel.
• Pleasant personality with strong customer service focus and able to develop good working relationships with students, staff members and external stakeholders.
• A good command of written and spoken Mandarin and English.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as and when required to meet student recruitment targets and demonstrate ability to response quickly to students' and agents' enquiries at all times.
• Pro-active and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as participate within the team.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, possess a mature attitude and a good team player.
• Marketing experience in an educational institution is an added advantage.
• sPossess own transport.
