Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC) is the fastest growing region in Amgen. Now we are hiring a Marketing Lead - General Medicine in Malaysia.LiveWhat you will do

• Maximizes all General Medicines brand potential at national level
• Executes Country Operating Plan
• Delivers branding campaign in line with international guidance
• Drives motivation of sales force towards brand aspiration (cycle and launch meetings)
• Lead cross functional brand team to develop and implement Country Brand Strategy & Plan in full congruence with International Brand Plan
• Designs and executes strategies and promotional activities (multi-channel customer engagement, detail aids, message scripts, advertising, congresses, etc.) in line with international branding and key messages
• Develops Long Range Plan with cross function teams
• Proposes national sales target and achieves agreement with Commercial Lead, National Sales Manager & Sales Manager

-Translates/implements international brand campaign locally

• Analyses market research and develops POA
• Coordinates competitive intelligence and drives competitive action plans
• Partners with the Medical team and other cross functional team members to optimize the brand performance (KOL developments, access etc.) and achieve KPIs for brands.
• Collaborate with other PMs (both local and regional) on joint projects
• Managing external partners and agencies, and tactical execution
• Identifies business opportunities and develops business cases

• Coaches and leads PMs within General Medicine to achieve brand ambition at national level

WinWhat we expect of youMinimum Requirements

• Degree Qualified, pharmacy, life or biomedical sciences preferred.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in biopharmaceutical industry, with roles in commercial/ sales and marketing.
• Fluency in English, both oral and written communications
• Strong Financial and budgeting management
• Documented track record of product launches
• Computer skills (MS Office programs)
• Eligible to work in Malaysia

Preferred Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical company
• Documented experience in Bone & Cardiovascular Franchise area

• Experience in digital marketing strategies and initiatives.

• Experience with people management
