In this important role you will report directly to the CEO, have significant interaction with the senior management team and will be a key player in our next phase of growth by leading all marketing initiatives with our exceptional team. The Marketing and Brand Manager will lead the development of innovative strategies and go-to-market plans for both new launches and core businesses to drive market penetration and brand growth. Key responsibilities include developing innovation ideas through trend, competitive and category analyses, writing product copy and concepts, coordinating key product launch information, and executing marketing campaigns in the Business-to-Business environment. What You\'ll Be Doing Leveraging the ethos and unique curriculum content of GIFT.ed to create a bold and compelling brand narrative Develop and implement marketing and product plans based on strategic objectives Develop and manage company and product branding initiatives and standards Own company website content and SEO strategies including creation of copy Lead and manage both outbound and inbound marketing initiatives, analytics and automation Work effectively with the sales group on lead harvesting and nurturing strategies Manage paid search advertising using Google and Facebook ads, among others Plan, create, publish all social media postings across numerous channels Find opportunities for the Chairman and CEO to enhance the brand through speaking arrangements and other PR initiatives Work alongside our content team to create and publish content for blogs, website, email broadcasts, brochures and press releases Lead all marketing efforts on the product development committee Report on and analyse key marketing metrics to include lead generation, PPC, social media and website data What We Are Looking For BA degree in Marketing or relevant field preferred Minimum of five years of tactical and strategic marketing and brand management experience Fluent in spoken and written English and fluency in second language is desirable A comprehensive understanding of search engine optimization and website UI principles Strong copywriting and communication skills Background of effective management of key social media channels Understanding of content management systems including WordPress Proficiency in Google AdWords, Facebook Ads and Google Analytics Experience in effective use of email marketing software (Mail Chimp or other) Comfortable with pulling and analysing data Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, oversee multiple projects at once, have attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines. History of conducting and analysing market research Proactive individual with the ability to self-manage projects and overcome obstacles independently.
