The Marketing Manager will report to the local Managing Director for Southeast Asia and a matrix reporting to Global Marketing Function in the headquarters to ensure that all marketing activities are delivered on time and budget and are of commercial focus with measurable return of investments.
Key success factor to the role is the ability to develop activities and collateral suits local markets taking into considerations the overall development local trends within the industry.
This position will interact with both internal and external teams and key customers to provide an overview above marketing projects across all disciplines including the production of sales and communication material, campaign activity, events and promotions, public relations.
Key to the role is the ability to execute activities with the aim to increase brand recognition across product and service portfolios with focus on increasing the market share and sales activities within key target audiences.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and roll-out of annual strategic marketing plans in line with Sales growth expectations and directions while increasing the brand recognition of the company and its affiliated product brands.
Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
Analyze customer insights, market trends, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.
Help develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-\xc2\xacfacing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
Conceptualize and execute on multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels.
Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establish budget guidelines, participate in events, document business processes, and provide sales support.
Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads.
Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimize accordingly.
Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.

Marketing Strategies and Project Management
Manage and implement marketing plans and schedules.
Manage multiple, simultaneous project schedules.

Sales promotions and catalogue production
Manage and ensure the annual catalogue production process in time.
Deliver excellent translation quality by own translating skills and/or closely work together with translation agencies.
Coordinate the catalogue launch event with PM for both internal and external partners.
Product Promotion
Collaborate with Product Management team to establish an annual plan for product promotion by quarter including NPI launch.
Responsible to plan, create brochures and channel communication to market.
Public Relations and advertising
Manage PR-campaigns and external communications by given input from the headquarters.
Plan and manage on- and off-line advertisements by given input from the headquarters.
Adopt customer e-newsletter by given input from the headquarters.
Ensure a consistent public image and maintaining of company image and identity.
New Channel / Hardware Store retail
Experience in retail product branding and packaging (Gondola and tools packaging, brochures, banner, flyers, branded vehicles and etc).
Establish and lead Channel marketing strategy for both online e-commerce and retail outlets for partners for Singapore, Malaysia, and export market.
Event Management
Having a complete overview of the planning of event-concepts and preparation of conferences, seminars, and exhibitions.
Conduct research and identify new event opportunities for the Company.
Conduct pre- and post-event briefing sessions.
Provide post event analysis and reports required by the Management.
Co-responsible for internal events (Social responsibilities, employee engagement)
Requirements and personnel Qualifications:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field
Five years and more experience in a corporate Marketing function (industrial B2B experience is preferred)
Hands on experience in leading both online and offline channel marketing
Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English, local language is an added advantage.
Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets. Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity and commercial focus.
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
Ability to understand complex product offerings and client requirements.
Proven ability in the comprehension of multiple projects with conflicting priorities
Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
Proven success in designing interactive applications and networking platforms including good understanding of e-business and social media tools.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, experienced in the \xe2\x80\x9cInDesign\xe2\x80\x9d tool
Job Type: Permanent Salary: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month Schedule:
