Job Description

You will be one of the principal pillars of the retreat, passionately and enthusiastically directing day-to-day activities. Further you will drive the preparation of the retreat sales, marketing and business plan. You will develop rapports with key clients and feel comfortable taking risks by entering into new markets. Responsibilities:

• Develop customer accounts to increase market/ customer share in all revenue streams
• Negotiate room rates/ packages
• Develop and implement creative marketing channels, including social media channels.
• Prepare company contracts in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
• Work within current business strategies and recognizing potential opportunities.
• Cooperate with other departments to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs.
• Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads.
• Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner.
• Knowledge on Social Media Content is an advantage.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years experience as a Sales & Marketing.
• Knowledge of hospitality is preferred.
• Passion for sales and for achieving targets and objectives.
• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
• Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative.
• Experience in event management is an advantage.
• Good computer literacy and communication skills.
• Able to travel outstation frequently.
• Flexible to working on weekend & public holiday.
• Required language(s): Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia.
