Job SummaryUnder only general supervision, responsible for various duties within sales and distribution. Supports the sales force by providing information and analysis that help drive the delivery of Zurich products and services to customers and distributors.Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

• Independently researches and analyses potential business development opportunities.
• Utilizes industry knowledge and expertise to Implement strategies to achieve sales goals.
• Provides strategic consultation to field sales personnel.
• Uses industry knowledge and expertise to respond to inquires from customers and/or distributors, provide clear feedback and resolves various issues as they arise.
• Resolve operational customer/distributor (or other partner) management activities (e.g. remuneration, sales initiatives, event management, cross-selling), ensuring an efficient and high-quality service is extended to all internal and external customers.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement by monitoring business processes and keeping abreast of industry developments.
• Participates on assigned project teams.
• Analyzes competing process methodologies and efficiencies in order to contributes to process improvement.
• Develops customer or distributor reports to help preparations for key tenders/meetings, including commentary and an analysis of trends to facilitate decision-making where required.

Job QualificationsRequired:

• Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Sales area

OR

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Sales area

OR

• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Sales area

Preferred:

• Insurance industry experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Business Accountabilities

• Participates on assigned project teams.
• Supports sales and advertising programs.
• Support distributor (or other partner) remuneration, and monitor and take responsibility for resources/cash, with defined procedures, where applicable.
• Carry out tasks, such as the preparation of documentation, to support the implementation of projects to time and quality standards.
• Identify principles relevant to legal and regulatory controls that govern standard work practices and ensure compliance with same.
• Provide support to the Sales and Distribution teams in one or multiple areas, on a local level, acting as liaison between field and internal stakeholders on customer and distributor issues
