Purpose Statement:

Responsible for procuring raw materials, components, tooling, supplies and services to ensure a 100% customer service level, while achieving the targeted Quality & Cost objectives. Assist in the implementation of sourcing & commodity strategies for all goods and/or services to achieve improvements in all areas of Quality, Cost and Service. He/She will demonstrate a moderate level of decision making skills.

Responsibilities

Perform all raw materials purchasing procedures. He/she will contact local and international providers for the supply of merchandise. Maintain good relations with providers of raw materials. Assess raw materials provider performance periodically. Evaluate and select the companys raw material providers. Maintain the cost-quality relation, pursuing the maximum savings for the company. Satisfy established raw material inventory levels. Execute the complete raw material purchase cycle, from definition of the requirement to receiving the merchandise. Generate continuous improvement projects for processes related to raw material purchases.

Job Requirements:

Candidate required to possess at least Degree holder in any related field. Has at least 5-7 years experience in related field. Experienced in Planning, Purchasing/Inventory/Material Management or equivalent. Required skill(s): interpersonal communications, negotiation, analytical, MS Office, SAP, MRP. Has working experience in MNC will be value added.
