Material Controller

Job Description
The Material Controller is responsible for managing, tracking, and controlling all project materials to ensure timely availability, proper storage, accurate inventory records, and compliance with project specifications and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against
Purchase Orders (POs)
,Delivery Orders (DOs)
, andMaterial Requisitions (MRs)
. Maintain accuratematerial inventory records
, including issuance, consumption, balance stock, and traceability. Ensure propermaterial identification, tagging, labeling, and storage
in accordance with project and quality requirements. Coordinate withProcurement, Warehouse, QA/QC, and Site Teams
to ensure materials are available as per project schedule. Monitor material usage and reportshortages, excess, or damaged materials
to relevant departments. Control material issuance to site or workshop based on approved requests. Prepare and updateMaterial Status Reports (MSR)
, inventory reports, and stock reconciliation. Ensure compliance withquality standards
, client specifications, and project documentation requirements. Handlenon-conformance materials (NCR)
and coordinate with QA/QC and procurement for replacement or rectification. Ensure proper preservation and protection of materials to prevent deterioration or damage. Supportmaterial audits
and inspections by clients or internal teams. Maintain proper filing of material-related documents.Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
