You will be responsible for the entire Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process, collaborating with various teams to optimize inventory levels and manage supplier relationshipsKey responsibilities

• Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Execute the MRP process daily and weekly to align with production plans and schedules.
• Material Procurement: Source and purchase required raw materials and packaging materials based on production plans and company inventory policies.
• Purchase Order Management: Create and assign purchase orders to suppliers within the SAP system.
• Inventory Management:

• Identify and expedite missing materials (shortages) to avoid production disruptions.
• Manage safety stock levels and goods movement.
• Generate reports to monitor supplier performance and track inventory levels.
• Identify and develop solutions for excess or aging inventory.
• Supplier Communication: Maintain clear communication with suppliers regarding deliveries, shipping documents, and other related matters.
• Contingency Planning: Develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues like quality problems or shipment delays.
• Project Management: Participate in ad-hoc projects and undertake other duties as assigned

Qualifications and skills

• Recognized degree in any discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Material Planning roles within the Supply Chain function.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Proficient in ERP systems (preferably SAP), MRP II principles, and MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
