An exciting Regional Capacity and Material Planner job has opened up at a company renowned worldwide for their brand excellence and industry expertise. About the Regional Capacity and Material Planner Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for integrating all important business processes from suppliers to customers, providing valuable products, services, and information for stakeholders and customers. This role reports directly to the Regional Planning Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a weekly production plan for the factory based on capacity, material availability, safety stock, and customer demand
- Manage changes in the fixed horizon impacting volumes of finished goods
- Develop a capacity plan for the mid/long term to ensure optimal customer service levels and input into monthly IBP meetings
- Define a straightforward way of working for Make to Stock and Make to Order strategies, and improve cost, cash, and service targets
- Manage stock levels for finished goods, approve parameters impacting stock levels, and drive scenario development for capacity assessments
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, Business Administration or any related field
- Minimum of three years\' production planning experience within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry
- Prior experience in SAP, proficiency in Excel and PowerBI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently whilst still being a team player
