Responsibilities:
Purchase and manage order fulfillment activities to meet business demand, optimizing inventory turns, and ensuring supplier on-time delivery.
Monitor and manage the order status process, maintaining accurate shipping and delivery information in our systems. Communicate updates to the matrix team and collaborate with suppliers to meet delivery commitments.
Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to hold them accountable for meeting shipping and delivery commitments, driving system and process improvements.
Negotiate pricing with suppliers and provide sales teams with competitive quotes to support customer opportunities.
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams, including transportation carriers, to ensure timely receipt and delivery of products. Lead or support process improvements in this area.
Oversee non-conforming inventory, managing product disposition and in-process failures.
Maintain open communication with planners, sales, and customer operations regarding order status and problem resolution.
Assist in managing inventory aging and fill rate, including disposition and stock rotation/liquidations as needed to meet business goals.
Contribute to key initiatives and objectives, actively participating in project teams and supporting supplier management activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience in the field.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in purchasing, order management, or material planning in the semiconductor industry.
Proficient in supply chain practices, techniques, and industry standards.
Strong negotiation and communication skills to interact with suppliers and internal teams effectively.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise judgment and discretion.
Experience in collaborating on projects and contributing to team success.
