Job Summary:

UCSI Schools is seeking a passionate and qualified

Mathematics Teacher

to join our dynamic academic team, teaching across both primary and secondary levels. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for Mathematics, while building strong numeracy skills and conceptual understanding among students.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, and curriculum-aligned Mathematics lessons to primary and secondary students. Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that align with national curriculum standards (KSSR/KSSM) and/or relevant international frameworks. Teach foundational and advanced mathematical concepts with clarity, ensuring students grasp the relevance and application of Mathematics in real-world contexts. Assess and monitor student progress through formal and informal methods; provide timely feedback and academic support tailored to individual learning needs. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages inquiry, problem-solving, and collaborative learning. Integrate the use of educational technology, manipulatives, and mathematical modelling to enhance student engagement and understanding. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure curriculum coherence and cross-subject integration where appropriate. Participate actively in school-wide events, co-curricular activities, parent-teacher conferences, and other community-building initiatives. Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with current trends and best practices in Mathematics education.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., Diploma in Education, PGCE, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching Mathematics at both primary and secondary school levels. Strong subject matter knowledge, effective classroom management, and excellent communication skills. Ability to differentiate instruction and present complex mathematical concepts in an engaging and accessible manner. Commitment to nurturing student growth, creativity, and a positive attitude toward learning.

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
