ISP Malaysia - Tenby International School Setia Ecohill Maths Teacher Role Profile ( Secondary) Purpose of Role Tenby Setia Ecohill is keen to employ an enthusiastic and capable teacher for the Secondary Maths department. The school prides itself on a progressive approach to teaching, with lessons including dynamic collaborative activities and a challenging pace. The successful candidate will be able to lead exciting lessons which inspire students to achieve amazing results. The Secondary school has been growing quickly over the past 2 years and the IGCSE Maths results have been strong. The successful candidate will be expected to continue this trend and contribute to the wider school life within the Maths Department, such as holding Maths competitions and other extra-curricular activities. Key Responsibilities teaching the Secondary Maths curriculum. taking responsibility for the progress of a class . organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment planning, preparing, and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within their class motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative lessons maintaining discipline preparing and marking work to facilitate positive pupil development meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils\' development providing feedback to parents and careers on a pupil\'s progress at parents\' evenings and other meetings coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area working with others to plan and coordinate work plan and run a weekly CCA become involved in organising at least one whole school event Skills, Qualifications And Experience Appropriate degree and teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Bachelor of Education) At least two to three year\'s relevant teaching experience A passion for teaching and a belief in the education of the \'whole child\' High levels of professionalism and care for children Excellent oral and written English Have excellent subject knowledge of the English National Curriculum and IPC Have excellent classroom practice ISP Leadership Competencies You consistently demonstrate and role-model the ISP Leadership Competencies in all that you do.
