Overview:

Manufacturing Engineer needed in Selangor, Malaysia

40 hours a week

From Oct, 25 till Feb, 26.

To effectively provide manufacturing producibility knowledge and information for the engineering and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
Identify and extract information from engineering drawings, CAD models and standards for supplier's manufacturing solutions. Coordinate customer change details and direct impacts brought by customer, engineering or standard changes based on change procedure and flow to supplier. Maintain supplier's product bill of materials and configuration to the valid customer-specified configuration. Review supplier's manufacturing process sequence and technique documents for compliance, ease and efficiency of manufacturing. Create and maintain purchased parts configuration and condition of supply per manufacturing and engineering requirements. Compile and coordinate engineering data to suppliers at the correct configuration, scope and timing. Review supplier's root cause and corrective actions using problem solving tools in accordance with company procedures and guidelines. Respond to supplier and production request for engineering assistance with accurate answers per the applicable procedures. Support supplier's specification gap analysis. Comply with customer Code of Ethics and Business Conducts, 5S and Safety policies, AS9100, NADCAP, ISO9001, ISO140001, OHSAS18001 and all applicable customer standards

Qualifications:
Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in technical disciplines such as aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering or material science. Minimum 3 years of professional engineering practice in related technical fields. Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia in speaking, listening and writing. Excellent MS Office tools skills while SAP and CATIA skills will be an advantage. Strong leadership, interpersonal and planning skills. Solid business acumen and strong drive for business improvements. Proven track record of ability to perform under minimal supervision. * Malaysian citizen or hold relevant residence status.
