An exciting Mechanical Assembly Manager job has just become available at one of the most respected manufacturing and production firms based in Penang. This is a role for a team lead who is well versed in project management and mechanical build technical know-how.

About the Mechanical Assembly Manager Role:
Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Mechanical Assembly Manager will play a key role in supervising and leading the Mechanical Build department of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical Build department planning, job assignment and resources arrangement
• Review the need for a new position in Mechanical Build department, review resume and conduct interview for recruiting new subordinate
• Identify and develop subordinate training and development programme
• Set, coach, record and evaluate subordinate performance
• Monitor and provide guidance to meet deadline/budget/quality for each project until completion
• Identify, facilitate and implement improvement activities and in charge of task force
• Inform and clarify company new policy and programme to subordinate
• Approval of PR, leave and MC.
• Conduct periodical meeting with subordinate to resolve section issues and align with overall organisation goal
• Perform other duties and assignments as instructed by supervisor from time to time

To succeed in this Mechanical Assembly Manager role, you must have at least five years\' working experience in a related field as well as good leadership skills, people management skills and project management skills.

Key Requirements:

• At least a degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent Engineering field
• Good communication skills
• Team leading or people managing experience
• Knowledge in mechanical technical know-how for machinery assembly
