Develop detailed mechanical drawings and designs based on engineering specifications.
Collaborate with engineers to interpret sketches, technical specifications, and other data to generate mechanical designs.
Prepare technical drawings for mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Ensure all designs and drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers or manufacturing teams and update them for design improvements.
Maintain and update drawing documentation for future reference.
Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and manuals.
Support project teams by providing accurate and detailed drawings for manufacturing and assembly processes.
Participate in design reviews and ensure that drawings meet required quality standards.
Assist in troubleshooting issues related to mechanical designs during the production phase.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Qualification: Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical drafting, preferably in industrial or manufacturing settings.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant tools.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and precise drawings.
Familiarity with mechanical standards, part assemblies, and fabrication techniques.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project teams.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.
Language Proficiency: English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage but not required).
Additional Requirements:
Ability to interpret technical specifications and produce relevant mechanical designs.
Willingness to work on-site and collaborate with production teams as needed.
Strong problem-solving skills and a positive working?attitude.
