The M&E Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all mechanical and electrical works on construction sites, ensuring that installations comply with project specifications, safety standards, regulatory requirements and quality expectations. This role involves supervising subcontractors, coordinating with consultants and other site teams, monitoring progress and resolving technical issues to support smooth project delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and supervise daily M&E installation activities (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, ELV system, etc.)
Ensure all works are executed according to construction drawings, specifications and method statements.
Coordinate work sequences with civil, architectural and other engineering disciplines to avoid delays.
Review and check M&E shop drawings, RFI responses and technical submissions.
Ensure works follow approved drawings, method statements and quality standards.
Attend site coordination meetings and provide solutions collaboratively.
Assist in preparing as-built drawings, O&M manuals and defect rectification.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or a related field.
At least 2-5 years of experience in construction industry.
Strong understanding of M&E systems and construction processes.
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel)
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and ability to supervise subcontractors effectively.
Valid driver's license (if required for field testing activities)
