Job Description
TOTAL IFM Sdn. Bhd. (TOFM), established in 1999, is a technology-driven company specializing in Energy Management, Digital Solutions and Integrated Facility Management across Malaysia. As part of our continued growth, we are looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer to join our team immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare technical reports for M&E projects, including incident reports, troubleshooting documentation, testing & commissioning reports, and upgrade evaluations.
Actively participate in project mobilization and execution of new assignments.
Conduct site inspections of M&E systems--especially HVAC--to ensure proper installation, maintenance, and repair in line with design specifications.
Analyze HVAC systems and equipment to identify issues and recommend effective solutions.
Communicate directly with clients to gather project requirements and provide cost, feasibility, and implementation assessments.
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BQ), scope of work, and proposals for system upgrades or modifications, including cost and timeline estimates.
Qualification:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in M&E and HVAC systems.
Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities.
Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software/tools.
