Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operation, maintenance, management and M & E engineering improvement of various factory systems and types of equipment.
• The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for Factory Machines Mechanical and Electrical design, factory layout design, Facility/Utility design, and Contractor Management, Development and implementation.
• Carry out the design of the Plant machinery, facilities and electrical for installation to identify and resolve issues.
• Check and monitor the machine\'s mechanical, electronic and electrical systems design to ensure functionality.
• Ensure all engineering works comply with safety and all legal requirements to prevent accidents and maintain staff health conditions.
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
• Supervises, manages and supports maintenance personnel and contractors.
• Actively monitors the operation and performance of plant equipment and systems.
• Capable of solving problems encountered during the production process. This includes quality, output, materials, equipment and personnel issues.
• Implements and/or improves preventive and predictive maintenance procedures
• Manages the spare part purchase and stock (if necessary).
• Maintains and improves safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Leads staff to achieve minimal unplanned maintenance stoppage.
• To undertake any assigned tasks from time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: Professional Certificate/ Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate, Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma with a background in Mechanical Engineering or equivalents.
• At least 3 to 5 years experience or above in plant operation working experience with a similar position in the production manufacturing sector fertilizer, and agriculture industry will be added advantage.
• With excellent leadership skills; Good strategic view and goal-oriented working style; accountability and integrity, and a positive attitude.
• Able to work and accept challenges in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written and oral Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin communication and presentation skills with both senior management and production.
• Computer-literate with working knowledge of common software packages such as Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Willing to work in Kapar, Klang.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month Benefits:
