Job Responsibilities

• Understand customers\' operational requirements for material handling systems (postal, warehouse and Airport applications).
• Detailed design of postal, parcel and baggage handling equipment/system
• Application engineering for standard material handling equipment.
• Requirement Analysis
• Coordination of designs with customers, suppliers, partners, etc.
• Project execution including onsite coordination with engineering team and installation team
• Compliance with Siemens Processes (PLM and PM@Siemens)

Qualifications

• A bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Min 2-5 years working experience in the baggage handling
• Good knowledge of material handling process such as cargo, baggage, postal.
• Good CAD knowledge (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, UG)
• Exposure to the automation industry and knowledge of quality control processes
• Must be able to recognize hierarchy of organizational structure and be able to work as part of a team.
• Need to show ability to work on own initiative
• Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and personnel both verbally and written in English.
• Experience with foreign countries; collaboration with international teams; exposure in different work/company cultures
