Job Description

The main focus of the position should be to ensure that the design integrity is not compromised and to manage and facilitate effective completion of the mechanical detailed design. He or she shall be able to do mechanical detailed design, plan and design the arrangement of the plant. Task and Responsibilities \xef\x83\x98 Ensures the achievement of assigned goals and the fulfilment of the project quality requirements and the contractual obligations. \xef\x83\x98 Ensures the achievement of assigned goals and the fulfilment of the project quality requirements and the contractual obligations \xef\x83\x98 Analyze the project technical documents in order to validate consistency between the budget, resources and means allocated for the work completion and the targets to be met. \xef\x83\x98 Attends to internal review activities and inter-discipline check meetings. \xef\x83\x98 Provides technical support to Project, Procurement, Subcontracting and Construction activities included in the scope of work. Prepare the material list depicting all the materials, sizes, specification, special requirements, testing requirements to meet the design. This document shall be used as an input for a procurement team. \xef\x83\x98 Prepare specification for vendor quote and perform TBE (technical bid evaluation) at times. \xef\x83\x98 Follow up on P&ID including quantification of Pipe line number in P&ID, Technical Specification as well as MTO, in standardising with material code \xef\x83\x98 Generate detailed calculations, analysis and solutions for mechanical design to deliver safe, secure and fully functional facilities based on the customer\xe2\x80\x99s safety and reliability standards with supervision from senior team members Requirements Education: Diploma or higher in Chemical / Process / Mechanical Engineering; Working Experience: Require minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience and excellent knowledge in mechanical design and space management. Technical & Professional Knowledge: \xef\x83\x98 Good knowledge of both local and international codes, standards and regulations; \xef\x83\x98 Familiar with Microsoft Office Application such as Excel, Words & PowerPoint; \xef\x83\x98 Knowledge of operate 3D modelling software (CadWorx/ Plant 3D/ BIM/ REVIT) and Navis work Manager is an advantage; \xef\x83\x98 Strong background in design and construction projects is an advantage;
