Job Description




Mechanical Engineer (M&E Consultancy)

1. To assist Project Team Leader :

  • In performing preliminary planning, preparation of Design concepts and cost estimation.
  • Liaise with external parties (authority, client, contractor) with regards to project related issues.
  • Technical interfacing.
  • In contract administration.
2. Assist in tendering M&E contracts, preparing relevant documents, drawings, specifications, calculation and others.

3. Ensure timely implementation of all project phases.

4. To report to Project Team Leader on status of projects.

5. Assign and coordinate works with Drafters, Designers Engineers, clerk of works (if any)

6. Plan & schedule engineering works and projects to assist Project Team Leader.

7. Attend all necessary project meeting, site inspection, testing and commissioning

8. Make regular reports to the Project Team Leader and Client (or equivalent decision-making structure) highlighting areas of concern and preparing the documents for review and meeting.

9. Generate ideas or lead teams that drive continual improvement in processes and performance within the Department.

Requirements :-
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor\'s Degree/Professional Degree, Master\'s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English
  • At least 1 - 2 Years of working experience in the related field (M&E Consultant field) is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): Autocad, Revit, Microsoft Office.
  • Positive attitude, willing to learn, able to work independently and willing to travel.
