My client is a well-known MNC manufacturer of building materials. They are currently looking for Mechanical Engineers to join their newly created team in Melaka or Selangor.Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead and support projects and factory upgrades.
• Technical Evaluations: Assess technical and operational aspects, identify gaps, and provide solutions.
• Budget Management: Handle budgeting, technical specs, briefings, negotiations, and costs.
• Risk Management: Develop time plans with risk management.
• Research and Analysis: Research materials, evaluate processes, and improve product performance.
• Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams for smooth project execution.
• CAD Software: Use CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for 2D/3D models.
• Monitoring: Track progress and implement corrective actions.
• Facility Management: Guide installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
• Maintenance: Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Compliance: Follow group safety and quality standards.
• Documentation: Maintain project documentation and manuals.
• Information Management: Provide periodic reports and manage information.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• 5 years and above in relevant disciplines and preferably in manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Strong engineering projects, utilities, maintenance knowledge
• Creative and innovative in solutions
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Confident communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Good in written and verbal English
• Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD / SolidWorks or similar tools
