Participate in Value Engineering projects with emphasis on mechanical engineering initiatives. Execute Manufacturing Automation and Robotic projects, focusing on mechanical design and Cobot automation. Design mechanical parts to reduce cost and improve performance of the products. Carry out thermal/structural simulation to optimize mechanical part design of the products. Strong knowledge in Manufacturing processes, Design guidelines and Materials properties. Provide mechanical engineering support to production, prepare new or revise manufacturing documents, drawings, and interface with ERP system. Design and improve Equipment Tester (ET), fixtures and tooling for test and assembly. Plan and execute mechanical, environmental and/or other reliability testing. Keeping up-to-date with latest developments in industrial automation technology and using these studies in improving productivity and promoting cost effectiveness. Drive the continuous product and process improvements to achieve cost reduction, quality/yield improvement. As a Project Manager to lead selected Manufacturing Automation and Robotic projects. Job Qualifications Bachelors or Master\'s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial and Robotics) or related discipline. Experience in the field of Automation and Robotics is an added advantage. Ability to apply Project Management skills into leading engineering projects. Work experience of 7 years in similar manufacturing industry. Knowledgeable of LEAN concept. This includes Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Single Minute Exchange Die (SMED) & One Piece flow. Experience in CAD Modelling. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Creative, flexible, and innovative team player. Good communication skills and effective interpersonal skills, ability to work cooperatively and independently. Job Function Manufacturing
