Company Description We suggest you enter details here. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer located in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing and improving mechanical systems and equipment across a range of projects. The Mechanical Engineer will also work to identify production problems and develop solutions to improve production processes. Plans, directs, and coordinates mechanical manufacturing processes by providing technical support in the development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods by performing the following duties. Confers with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. Coordinates with R&D to determine product specifications and design changes and responds to their request. Drive concurrent engineering activities to ensure product design requirements align with manufacturing requirements. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and optimization of new product manufacturing process. Continuously develop and seek new process breakthroughs that improve quality, productivity and cost. Familiar with best practices in mechanical assembly and assembly jig / fixture design Conduct experiments methodically, analyse data and interpret results Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and testing methodologies Experience with project management and team collaboration on complex projects Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences Strong mathematical and analytical skills Experience with designing and developing electro-mechanical systems is a plus Experience with quality control systems and standards is a plus
