This position will be based in KLK OLEO, Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Role and Responsibilities Oversee and enhance the sustained efficiency of plant maintenance strategies, including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Analyse outcomes, establish requisites, and prioritise initiatives to elevate plant reliability, thereby ensuring the attainment of KLK OLEO Group\'s quality objectives. Demonstrate proficient technical expertise and hands-on knowledge of process plant equipment to provide guidance and oversight to the plant maintenance team during critical maintenance operations. Contribute to the resolution and enhancement of reliability and engineering concerns. Engage actively in project management and execution, collaborating closely with the process team to define project scope, conduct feasibility studies, execute detailed engineering, oversee tender processes, manage equipment specifications and procurements, as well as coordinate construction activities. Ensuring alignment with SSHE (Safety, Security, Health, and Environment), QAQC (Quality Assurance and Quality Control), schedule, and budgetary objectives are met. Responsible for ensuring that design and construction activities, including related engineering activities, are compliant with local authority requirements and KLK OLEO\'s established standards. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to improve productivity. Mentor and cultivate personnel to foster ownership, amplify skill sets, and inspire a culture of positivity across the organisation. Job Success Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant discipline, accompanied by 7 to 12 years of distinguished experience encompassing preventive and predictive maintenance, and project implementations adeptness within large-scale chemical manufacturing environments. Possessing credentials in vibration analysis or alternative condition monitoring methodologies, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), welding inspection, and certifications such as API510 or API580 will be an advantage. Additional Notes / Desirable Skills Hands-on skill and knowledge of construction work, maintenance of rotating equipment (inclusive of various pump variants, compressors, gearboxes etc.), and the upkeep of static equipment (pressure vessels, piping, storage tanks). Familiar with international standards such as API, ASME, BS, and ANSI, relevant to the domain of chemical process plant operations. Able to apply principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer and material science in a professional context. Strong managerial acumen and interpersonal skills. Display an exceptional commitment to goal attainment and an unwavering drive for achieving results. Demonstrate the capability to collaboratively function within a team-oriented framework within the dynamic structure of a matrix organisation.
