Job Description

Key Responsibilities

? Perform mechanical design and analysis for equipment, piping, and structural systems used in oil & gas facilities.

? Prepare mechanical datasheets, technical specifications, and equipment lists in compliance with project requirements.

? Review vendor drawings, conduct technical evaluations, and participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests).

? Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, electrical, instrumentation, civil) to ensure design integration.

? Support project execution by providing technical clarifications and resolving engineering issues on-site.

? Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, calculations, and reports for management review.

? Ensure compliance with international standards (ASME Sec VIII, API, ISO) and client specifications.

? Contribute to risk assessments, HAZOPs, and design reviews to enhance safety and reliability.

? Assist in cost estimation, procurement support, and project scheduling related to mechanical scope.

Qualifications

? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

? Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering for oil & gas or petrochemical projects.

? Good understanding of ASME, API, and other relevant codes and standards.

? Proficiency in engineering design tools and software (AutoCAD, Caesar II, SolidWorks, etc.).

? Experience with rotating and static equipment design, piping stress analysis, and material selection.

? Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

? Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and meet project deadlines.

Salary package will be finalized after the interview session.
