Mechanical Engineer

with strong leadership skills to join our engineering team and support production reliability, preventive maintenance, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure machinery reliability. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to resolve production issues. Lead, coach, and supervise subordinate engineers and technicians to achieve team performance goals. Read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings, schematics, and work orders to maintenance and improvement projects. Implement engineering improvements to enhance equipment performance, energy efficiency, and safety. Liaise with vendors for equipment procurement, installation, and modification as needed. Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and ISO/GMP standards. Report project and maintenance progress to management and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 1-2 years of experience in heavy industry or manufacturing. Proven leadership skills with experience managing subordinates. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment. Knowledge of preventive maintenance, mechanical systems, and machine troubleshooting.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:45 am - 6:15 pm On-call for urgent breakdowns as required
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
