The Position
Mechanical Supervisor, Ipoh Plant
Job Summary
To supervise and arrange service and maintenance for plan machinery and equipment inclusive of troubleshooting and correction.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo supervise and follow up on the service and maintenance work of the mechanical fitters To plan daily and weekly maintenance activities To instruct, coordinate and plan the manpower for maintenance work within the PM/Shutdown time line To ensure all fabrication job done within timeline with proper storage To keep proper records of work attendance, daily reports, equipment breakdown, and spare purchases To ensure safety rules and regulations are being followed at all the time To ensure proper housekeeping at the maintenance workshop & workplace To ensure all Hydraulic and pneumatic system in proper condition To ensure all plant equipment is in proper order based on MTBF/RF and UF To perform inspection for all plant equipments To summarize the inspection finding and plan for repair job To execute and close planned jobs from SAP job requests To execute all enablon action plan as per safety protocol requirement To plan program for plant shutdown/minor/major To communicate safety alerts, lesson learned and incident sharing on time to department To ensure employees/contractors well trained on their task To accountable on employees/contractors safety To intervene any unsafe behavior at site Encourage employees/contractor to conduct peer to peer safety observation To ensure no leakage in air compressor and water pipeline systems To maintain oil storage and waste disposal rooms as per DOE standards
