Mechanical Technician (piping & Fabrication)

Job Description
To carry out mechanical fabrication, piping installation, fitting, and assembly works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Responsibilities
Perform piping fabrication, cutting, fitting, alignment, and installation works according to drawings and specifications. Carry out fabrication works including frames, brackets, supports, tanks, and mechanical structures. Assist in mechanical assembly of machines, modules, and systems. Support installation, alignment, and adjustment of piping systems, pumps, valves, and fittings. Conduct basic testing, leak checks, and functional checks after installation. Ensure fabrication and piping works meet quality standards and project requirements. Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site safety rules at all times. Maintain good housekeeping at work areas. Work closely with engineers, welders, and other technicians to ensure smooth project execution. Support site installation, commissioning, or troubleshooting activities when required.
Requirements
Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication, or related field. Experience in industrial equipment, machinery, or process systems is an advantage. Able to read and understand mechanical drawings. Basic welding knowledge is an advantage (not mandatory). Willing to work overtime or travel for site work when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
