Job Description

POSITION: FIELD MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
s:
Perform on-site service, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Assist in equipment installation, testing, and commissioning at customer sites.
Diagnose issues involving hydraulic systems, PLC controls, and basic electrical components.
Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
Support engineers in performing adjustments, calibration, and component replacement.
Provide technical support to customers (local and foreign) during service calls.
Ensure all service activities follow company safety procedures and industry standards.
Work closely with the mechanical/engineering team to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Job Requirements:
Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
1-3 years of experience in machinery maintenance, mechanical servicing, or field service roles.
Good knowledge of hydraulic systems (diagnosis, repair, pressure testing).
Basic knowledge of PLC and control systems (equipment is pre-loaded, no programming needed).
Basic electrical understanding (motors, sensors, wiring, relays).
Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/hydraulic equipment independently.
Able to work in a team with a mixture of local and foreign staff.
Willing to travel for on-site work when required.
Good communication skills, responsible, and hands-on working attitude.
