REQUIREMENT

1. The selected candidate will be hired on a contract basis for specific project duration.

2. Possess a Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

3. Minimum 5 years experiences on commercial/industrial project, hospital project experience will be priority.

4. Strong multitasking skills and the ability to explain issues precisely.

5. Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Report to the Project Manager on the daily supervision, inspection, and coordination of M&E services installation works, ensuring compliance with local standards and codes, authorities' requirements, design intent, and good engineering practices.

2. Attend weekly or fortnightly site and coordination meetings.

3. Coordinate site activities with other trades to ensure smooth workflow and avoid clashes.

4. Assist in preparing weekly/fortnightly/monthly M&E site progress reports, including photographs, drawing mark-ups, and other documentation required by the Main/Management Contractor, Consultants, and Client/Owner.

5. Assist in preparing and issuing Site Instructions, Site Memos, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) to respective M&E sub-contractors for necessary rectification works.

6. Monitor, follow up, and track the submission status of shop drawings, working drawings, material submittals, and method statements from M&E sub-contractors.

7. Conduct QA/QC inspections to ensure all M&E installation works comply with approved standards and good engineering practices.

8. Inspect, identify, record, and report construction defects, deficiencies, poor workmanship, and any non-compliance issues; prepare reports for defect rectification works during construction.

9. Assist in identifying, compiling, and tracking outstanding works, ensuring completion in accordance with the Main/Management Contractor's schedule.

10. Review, verify, and provide input on monthly progress claims submitted by M&E sub-contractors, including verification of materials delivered to site.

11. Verify and assess M&E variation works and ensure proper documentation.

12. Coordinate with M&E sub-contractors to schedule Testing & Commissioning (T&C) of M&E systems.

13. Witness all M&E testing, balancing, and commissioning works to ensure installations meet the design intent, and ensure all test results/data are accurately recorded and documented for O&M manual compilation.

14. Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of all As-Built Drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manuals submitted by M&E sub-contractors.

15. Coordinate final inspections with M&E sub-contractors to ensure all defects are rectified prior to the issuance of the Certificate of Practical Completion (CPC).

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
