The company is a global, science-led biopharmaceutical organisation that focuses on the discovery, development, and commercialisation of prescription medicines for some of the world\'s most serious diseases.What you\'ll do:As a Medical Advisor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care by developing and implementing medical engagements. You will be responsible for building relationships with scientific leaders, sharing emerging data with healthcare professionals, providing insights on medical trends to internal partners, and developing local medical plans. Your strategic thinking will be key in executing pre-launch plans for new products. You will also provide valuable input into the life cycle management of priority brands. Your leadership skills will shine as you guide faculty and content development for various medical programmes. Additionally, you will support the clinical team in selecting suitable investigators and sites.

  • Build, enhance and maintain engagement with scientific leaders (KOLs).
  • Develop and share emerging data with HCPs, discussing all aspects of the data in a scientific, objective and balanced way.
  • Provide internal partners with an understanding of medical trends, clinical practice and competitive intelligence.
  • Develop and implement local medical plans to address unmet medical needs in priority disease areas.
  • Strategise and execute pre-launch medical plans for new products at least 2 years prior to planned launch.
  • Provide medical input into the Life Cycle Management of priority brands and TAs.
  • Provide medical leadership on faculty and content development for medical programmes including national congresses, advisory boards, scientific exchange meetings, publications, CMEs.
  • Support Clinical team to select appropriate investigators and sites optimising quality, delivery and commercial benefit.
What you bring:The ideal candidate for the Medical Advisor role will have a strong scientific educational background, preferably holding a PhD or being a qualified Medical Doctor. You will bring your experience from the Medical Affairs function within the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare sector to this role. Your extensive experience in relationship and partner management will be crucial in building and maintaining engagement with scientific leaders. Your knowledge of the latest technical and regulatory developments will ensure you stay ahead of trends and changes in the industry.
  • Educational background in science, preferably a PhD or Medical Doctor from a top university or a qualified doctor.
  • Experience within the Medical Affairs function in the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare sector.
