Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity.

Perform patient assessment, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and record observations.

Assist doctors in procedures, treatments, and examinations.

Carry out nursing interventions such as wound care, IV therapy, injections, and health education.

Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.

Ensure accurate documentation of patient records and nursing notes.

Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to doctors and senior nurses.

Prepare and maintain equipment and instruments required for patient care.

Maintain infection control practices and comply with safety standards.

Support the ward/clinic operations, including admissions, discharges, and patient transfers.

Assist in managing ward/clinic supplies and inventory.

Participate in patient/family education and counselling when needed.

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

Maintain valid registration with the Malaysian Nursing Board and Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

Keep up-to-date with new nursing practices and participate in continuous professional development.

Adhere to hospital policies, nursing standards, and the Malaysian Nursing Board Code of Conduct.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Diploma in Nursing from an institution recognized by the Malaysian Nursing Board. Minimum SPM for Medical Assistant role.

Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board and holds a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

Preferably with at least 1-2 years' clinical experience (fresh graduates may be considered).

Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (knowledge of Mandarin/Tamil is an added advantage).

Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and patient-centred care.

Able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by hospital operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
