As the Medical Enabler, you aim to:

Provide strategic input and operational support for late stage development / near launch therapies in Disease Area (DA)

You seek out opportunities to apply your scientific experiences, skills and capabilities towards valuable work in service of patients

Act as a scientific expert of our medicines and diagnostic solutions throughout their product life cycles

Work in cross border collaborations in Asia Pacific and will be a member of the Network capabilities despite being hired into a country affiliate

Realize and scale country outcomes by contributing to virtual, cross border, cross functional work package teams

Jointly cultivate an environment that enables a self-managed team, with strong innovative, agile and enterprise mindset, customer centricity and a culture of discovery, experimentation and learning.

Despite being hired into a country affiliate, this role will be a member of the APAC network model, working in cross border collaborations, to realize and scale country outcomes by contributing to virtual, cross border, cross functional work package teams.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
As part of the Medical capabilities Chapter, you will be hired into a country affiliate and will be responsible for the following:

Contributing strong scientific, clinical and therapeutic expertise in the relevant Disease Area (DA)

Providing comprehensive expertise of Medical affairs theories, techniques and technologies (E.g. Data & insight generation, scientific partnerships, digital educational engagement,..) and fostering meaningful partnerships with healthcare professionals, patients and organizations

Establishing scientific collaborations and value based partnerships with therapeutic area experts and other healthcare stakeholders across different healthcare systems

Understanding important data gaps and designing and supporting data generation plans to address them including phase IV studies, registries etc.

Contributing Medical Affairs expertise to patient support and/or compassionate use programs across the DA portfolio as appropriate

Build high value-added continuing medical educational programs in the DA for external stakeholders

Advising on strategic planning and prioritization of opportunities, taking into account patients\xe2\x80\x99 need, resource requirements and market access considerations

Building and contributing the medical affairs capabilities to cross functional, cross cultural, self-managed, work package teams that apply agile methodologies to quickly deliver high value work

Translating insights into strategic and actionable recommendations for varied stakeholder groups to impact the way we work and ensure we help deliver positive, sustainable change in healthcare

Providing strategic medical review and approval for materials and communications.

Competencies
Skills and Experience :

You have relevant experience within a Medical Affairs role in Pharmaceutical, Diagnostics, Health Sciences, Biotechnology or other related fields. Prior experience in Oncology, ideally in the relevant DA, preferred.

Strong data comprehension, critical appraisal, synthesis interpretation and delivery of data/information skills

System Thinker; able to understand relationships, create purposeful strong internal/external collaborations with key stakeholders to mobilize systems towards change that enables better outcomes for patients

Customer-Centric; able to co-create solutions to address customer needs and transform clinical practice

Act as a leader, coach and mentor, who supports team working and actively contributes to the learning & development of peers across strategically aligned therapy area(s), key medical affairs capabilities and engagement with healthcare professionals and patient groups.

Entrepreneurial; able to identify opportunities, to experiment, to take risks and disrupt the status quo

Culture of humanity, curiosity and responsibility, working effectively, fast and smart, challenging status quo, with collaborative mindset, breaking down silos

Borderless Collaboration: working closely with other countries/communities/teams, embracing the of \xe2\x80\x98sharing and learning together\xe2\x80\x99 to co-create and upscale Ecosystem solutions

You have a proven track record of building, leading and contributing to high performing, diverse, agile teams

Preferred Qualifications:

You hold an MD degree; PhD or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in science, biology, immunology, neuro science or equivalent. Clinical experience in Oncology preferred.
