Compile, process, and maintain medical records of hospital and clinic patients in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the health care system.
Process, maintain, compile, and report patient information for health requirements and standards in a manner consistent with the healthcare industry's numerical coding system.
Responds to request for medical record and performs clerical duties.
Protect the security of medical records to ensure that confidentiality is maintained.
Retrieve patient medical records upon requests for Medical staffs.
Review records for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Release information to persons or agencies according to regulations.
Plan, develop, maintain, or operate a variety of health record indexes or storage and retrieval systems to collect, classify, store, or analyze information.
Prepare and submission government required forms.
Completes clerical duties including answering phones, responding to emails and processing patient admission and discharge records.
Responds to request for medical report processes.
Creating digital copies of paperwork and storing the records electronically.
Carry out all other duties that may be assigned by the superior.
