Job Description

Job Responsibilities :

• The CAD Drafter will form part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Stay up to date with new drafting software and advancements.
• Demonstrate impeccable attention to detail and have sound knowledge of the discipline they draft for.
• The CAD Drafter guides the software in order to create accurate depictions of the products to be manufactured or the building to be constructed.
• Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
• Calculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials.
• Describe production methods step-by-step (including equipment and software types to be used).
• Create detailed technical drawings with Computer-aided Design (CAD) software.
• Communicating with architects, suppliers, and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
• Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team.
• Ensuring final designs are compliant with regulations, client\xe2\x80\x99s requirements and quality standards and budget.
• Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.
• Ensuring that deadlines are met, and drawings are prepared efficiently.

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or architecture.
• Degree from a technical college also acceptable.
• Min 1 year experience to apply.
• Experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD)
• Familiar with 3D modelling tools.
• Ability to prepare diagrams, sketches and layouts to illustrate workflow.
• Review rough sketches and identifying potential operational issues, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Proven work experience as a Drafter or similar role.
• Be proactive towards production support, installation and client feedback.
• Ability to draw manually shall be an advantage, but not essential.
• Ability to work well in a team and on your own.
• Ability to converse in Mandarin is a plus.
• Ability to respond well to criticism and maintain a positive and proactive attitude
