About our Client:

Our client is a high-tech engineering consultancy firm founded in 2015. Equipped with the frontier computer aided design, drafting and analysis facilities, they offer comprehensive consulting services on architectural, E&M, fire engineering, building performance, on-site testing and other related disciplines. They operate as a multi-disciplinary amalgamation of resources and the professional expertise as a whole and are capable of working on any project, regardless of its location. With their service experience since 2015, they have established the reputation for quality, innovation and professionalism in all aspects of its work.

Job Scope:

As an MEP Design Engineer, you will play a vital role in leading and executing the full-cycle design of mechanical, air-conditioning, and fire services systems across various projects, especially those based in Hong Kong.

Drive the strategic planning and design for MEP systems -- with a focus on mechanical, air-conditioning, and fire protection. Confirm schematic designs and oversee the design process from planning to construction review. Lead the development, documentation, and design optimization for cost reduction and quality assurance. Collaborate with consultants, clients, contractors, suppliers, and government authorities. Participate in feasibility studies, proposals, design calculations, tender documentation, and budget estimations. Prepare technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field. Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in MEP system design (mechanical, HVAC, fire services). Solid technical knowledge in:
- Heat load calculations & HVAC design

- Split unit, VRV/VRF, chiller, and chilled water systems

- Primary Air Unit (PAU) and Air Handling Unit (AHU) configurations

Familiar with international design, inspection, and pre-construction standards. Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Able to read/write Chinese; Cantonese-speaking is highly preferred. Responsible, proactive, and strong in communication and coordination.
