Job Description

• Bachelor\'s degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or a related field
• Proven experience in fashion design and merchandising, preferably in a retail environment.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Preferably being proficient in Mandarin

ResponsibilitiesDesign and Development:

• Create and develop fashion collections from concept to final product, including sketches, mood boards, and technical designs.
• Collaborate with the design team to select fabrics, colors, and embellishments.
• Stay updated on the latest fashion trends, materials, and techniques to inspire new collections.
• Oversee sample production and ensure quality standards are met

Merchandising:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with the brand\'s vision and market trends. This includes seasonal planning, product mix selection, and pricing strategies.
• Trend Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and trend analysis to anticipate consumer demand and identify key trends that will resonate with our target audience.
• Order Management:Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products. Monitor production schedules and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the supply chain team to ensure optimal stock levels. Implement effective replenishment strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Assist in forecasting demand and planning inventory purchases.
• Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate terms, manage lead times, and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Quality Control:Conduct quality checks on samples and finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Address any quality issues promptly with suppliers and internal teams. Maintain detailed records of quality control processes and outcomes.
• Product Placement:Strategically position products in-store and online to maximize visibility and appeal. This includes visual merchandising, window displays, and online layout optimization

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to ensure cohesive execution of product launches.
• Communicate design concepts and merchandising plans to stakeholders and ensure alignment with brand identity.
• Present design collections and merchandising strategies to senior management and receive feedback.
