As an MES Software Engineer, you will support end-to-end MES project implementation from requirement analysis and system configuration to go-live and maintenance. You'll work closely with project managers and production teams to translate manufacturing processes into effective MES solutions.
Your role includes coordinating implementation plans, providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous system improvements. You'll also prepare documentation, user guides, and training materials to ensure smooth system adoption and performance.
Participate in requirement analysis, business process review, and on-site implementation of MES projects.
Work closely with the Project Manager to follow up on implementation plans, coordinate resources, monitor progress, and ensure project quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met.
Provide technical support and maintenance for MES systems after go-live; analyze and troubleshoot issues based on user feedback and drive continuous system improvements.
Support system configuration, customization, and integration according to business needs; participate in feature design, testing, and deployment.
Prepare technical documentation, training materials, and user guides; track and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Work with business and production teams to analyze manufacturing processes (molding, stamping, plating, assembly, etc.) and translate them into MES requirements.
Skills and Qualification
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in MES or manufacturing IT system development.
Strong knowledge of Java-based web technologies, such as Spring Boot, JSP/Servlets, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, and AJAX.
Familiar with PostgreSQL or SQL Server for database design and development, including stored procedures and performance tuning.
Understanding of MES-ERP integration, equipment data collection, and related interface development.
Familiar with Linux systems and basic administrative commands.
Knowledge of manufacturing operations including production planning, material management, production tracking, and quality management.
Experience in at least one MES project implementation. Experience with Pangus-MES or similar MES platforms will be an added advantage.
