4. Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
5. Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise.
7. Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening.
8. Maintain program files on computer and files up to date.
9. Nesting program parts as required on sheets or blanks to maximize material and production efficiency.
10. Understand and consider other jobs/processes in the production area.
11. Unfolds designed parts drawing to be cut, punched and laser.
12. Train new employees on how to properly operate machines and programs.
13. Check and correct problems that are immediately existing in the system or process.
14. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal/external teams.
15. Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
16. To comply with all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.
Job Requirements:
1. Certificate/ Diploma in machining/drafting/mechanical engineering or equivalent years of related experience.
2. Preferably 8 years or more working experience as programmer in MW manufacturing industry.
3. CAD/CAM programming preferably in the sheet metal industry and setup of punching / water jet / laser cut / tubing laser cut.
