Strategic Engineering Program Manager

Seeking a highly motivated entry level project management professional to lead the implementation of onsemi strategies. The selected individual will be responsible for managing projects that \xe2\x80\x9cmove the needle\xe2\x80\x9d including new product development, technology development and business process improvement projects. This position requires continual interactions with both internal and external members to ensure the project outputs align with stakeholder\xe2\x80\x99s evolving needs. The selected individual is additionally responsible for ensuring that internal project management processes and standards are adhered to and continuously improved.

• Define and manage project requirements with stakeholders throughout the life of the project.
• Creating schedules in MS Project, creating risk analyses using onsemi program management tools
• Documentation and tracking of projects/programs with program managers of defined scope, on schedule, within budget.
• Lead teams to successful problem resolution outcomes, staying on schedule.

• Early identification, resolution, and timely closure of critical decisions
• Resolve most project problems, intelligently escalate.
• Manage several key projects in parallel or singular large programs.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently to the program managers and team members.
• Document & report on all aspects of the programs
• Continually maintain and keep up to date the project schedule.
• Contribute to organization learning by leading 8D problem solving.

• Hands-on wafer fab processing, product engineering, and/or development experience equivalent to 7+ years in process/device/development engineering roles
• Excellent leadership skills and effective communication through all levels of the organization
• Ability to create effective executive presentations, flexible to different executive needs
• Waterfall project management methodologies, tools, and capabilities
• Strong statistical process control and experiment design knowledge and experience
• Data gathering and analysis to understand gaps and issues in processes and tools
• Broad, cross-functional experience in semiconductor manufacturing is highly valuable

• Active identification of schedule pull-in opportunities
• Ability to operate independently within program guidelines
• Proficiency in risk planning and reaction to project problems in order to stay on schedule
• Team player with strong listening skills that can take inputs and make informed decisions
• Concise and clear written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage cross functional, cross disciplined team members
• Ability to handle changing priorities, work pressure to meet deadlines
• Effective influence management without direct authority
• Demonstrated ability to communicate throughout the organization, including the executive staff.

• Semiconductor process, device/package and/or development engineering a MUST
• Min 5 years of project and program management experience or in roles with strong project management component
• Experience in New Product Development, particularly in automotive Power Module
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in science or engineering field \xe2\x80\x93 masters preferred
• A history of increasingly impactful quantifiable accomplishments is required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project is a plus.
