Prepare and review regulatory reports, in accordance to applicable reporting standards, to ensure reports are accurate, compliant, produced on time and disclosures are best in class
Prepare and conduct performance analytics, identify variances and find resolutions, to ensure that report submissions are robust and accurate.
Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, data compilation and various general ledger accounts, review against accounting standards and act as liaison with various internal teams, to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery
Prepare and complete audits, prepare responses for submission to address queries about reporting, and liaise with external auditors and Country Finance teams and Regulators to address queries effectively and in timely manner
Identify and resolve accounting and (regulatory) reporting issues and complete remediation and restatement work for any returns requiring resubmission
Review and document procedures and ensure that desk operating instructions and procedures are up-to-date at all times.
Identify trends to improve the reporting process, design periodical, quarterly and annual reports, in line with IFRS, Accounting Policies and financial requirements
